Twitter has skyrocketed to fame due to its user-friendly interface, very simple setup, and the fact that it takes just a few words to tell the world how you feel and what your thoughts are. However, it is the fact that it only allows a few characters that puts it at a disadvantage when comparing marketing platforms. Fortunately, there is a way to publish longer tweets!
Tumblr for Longer Tweets?
Tumblr has always been known as a publishing platform–a blog where you can share thoughts and pics. However, those are not the only great things you can do with Tumblr; you can use it for a lot of other things, too.
For instance, if you find that you are often unable to communicate enough information in a 140-character Tweet, you may want to consider using Tumblr to Tweet instead. This will allow you to write a message of any length; and then allow Tumblr to automatically Tweet the first 140 characters of it with a link back to the blog post.
